Jason Steranko

B.A., Classics and Economics, College of the Holy Cross

“People tell stories to make sense of the past, and we call these stories history. All of us contribute to history in our day-to-day lives, and its inescapability makes history both relevant and thrilling.” Jason Steranko is excited to teach his students the value and power of understanding and learning from the past. He doubled majored in Classics and Economics at the College of the Holy Cross, where he discovered a passion for the economic history of the 19thand 20th centuries. Jason teaches history at the middle school and modern world History at the high school. He lives in Haverhill and enjoys reading novels, spending time with pets (dogs, cats, and lizards), and going to the beach.
