The high school Research Writing class travels to the Haverhill Public Library several times to learn about research methods and resources. Each student will attend 2 of the 4 Wednesday visit dates. The dates are November 28, and December 5, 12, and 19. Students will attend a specialized library tour of available resources, will receive a computer training session on electronic resources available through the library and Internet, and will conduct research of their own.
Parent drivers are needed to help transport students to the library. We need 1-2 parent volunteers to drive for each date. Please email Margaret Cottrell at email@example.com if you are available to drive. Please indicate which week or weeks you prefer. The students will depart at 1:30 and will return to the pick-up circle at 3:00. The class will be divided into small groups. Groups that remain at BCA will have a supervised study hall with Mr. Burgess.
