Newell Honors Scholarship Program
Newell Scholars are accepted into the program as freshmen only. The program requires highly academically motivated students to carry a course load of 5 Honors and/or AP level classes each year of their high school program, as well as maintain a cumulative 3.3 unweighted GPA. All Newell scholars also must be candidates of the AP Capstone program, taking six AP courses throughout their high school career including AP Seminar and AP Research. Newell Honors Scholars, who complete all requirements of the program over the four years of high school, will receive a one-time $2,000 scholarship paid directly to their college to support the student’s college enrollment and academic future and to honor the academic commitment, determination, and achievement demonstrated at Bradford Christian Academy.
