cott Hazelton serves as Bradford Christian Academy’s Director of Student Life and Athletics. At the high school, Scott focuses on perpetuating vibrant community connection among students through activities, mentorship, consistent enforcement of expectations, and spiritual formation. In addition, Scott provides leadership and implementation for school-wide athletic programs–both developmental and competitive–and oversees all teams, coaches, and operations. He also serves as head coach for the girls’ Varsity 1 basketball team.

Scott earned a B.A. in Sociology from the University of Rhode Island. He has devoted his professional life to teaching, coaching, and mentoring young people. Scott has been and English and Social Studies teacher in the Lawrence, MA, and Manchester, NH, school systems.

Scott brings a renowned career as a high school, college, and professional athlete to BCA’s sports programs. In recent years, Scott has coached elite girls’ basketball athletes through the AAU NH Lady Rivals Club. Today, Scott’s driving motivation is to help all students thrive throughout their school careers as they prepare for college and beyond. Bradford’s focus on the whole student in the areas of customized college preparatory academics, intentional faith formation, and strong co-curricular involvement are distinctives that drew Scott to BCA. Scott lives in Haverhill with his wife Julie and his sons Jalen and Jaxson. They attend Granite United Church.
