Meet the Coach
As an athlete who has been competing in elite races since the age of 9, experience is certainly something that Catherine Milledge does not lack! While at Weaver High School in Connecticut she was named to the All- State team all 4 years and in her senior year she received the Female Athlete of the Year Award. As track and field is both a team and individual sport she helped lead her school to many team championships as well as individual championships within her particular events. Her impressive high school career earned her a full-scholarship to run track at Boston University. At one point in her college career she ranked number 6th in the country and was on her way to the Olympic trails. Unfortunately, a serious hamstring injury followed by a number of serious surgeries ended her running career as an athlete. Not one to let this set back stop her from achieving greatness in her life, she ended up using her newly free time to earn a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice from Boston University. Catherine lives in Lawrence, MA with her 2 year old baby girl, Nevaeh. Her life goal is to help her athletes accomplish their goals but pushing them farther than they ever thought they could go and helping them believe that they can do anything they put their mind to. She loves to work hard but makes sure to have fun while doing it! Her motto is: “We are One team, with One goal, and we accomplish those goals with One Spirit!” Cat is overjoyed to be a part of the BCA community and can’t wait to start working with her team!
