History and Mission

Bradford Christian Academy opened grades 6 through 9 in 2004. Founded by a prayer group composed of parents who valued challenging college-preparatory academics integrated with a strong Christian worldview, the school grew to add grades 10, 11, and 12 over the next three years. The school became fully accredited by New England Association of Schools and Colleges in 2010 and eventually grew to include elementary grades. Today BCA offers grades kindergarten through 6 in its Haverhill facility and grades 7 through 12 in its Lawrence facility. Throughout its eighteen-year history of growth, BCA has never wavered from its mission of

Inspiring lives of character and service through college preparatory academics integrated with a Christian faith perspective in a community distinguished by grace.

Over 200 alumni embody the faith and learning they acquired at BCA as they live, work, and serve in our local communities and around the world.
