I teach with patience and grace, in hopes that no student will ever feel inadequate or incapable. Where I have often heard students claim to be “bad at science,” I believe that they simply have not been taught in a way that aligns with their personal manner of learning and thinking. I seek to do everything in my power to serve my class as a collective while still attending to the strengths and needs of each individual.
